What could be more heartwarming than a home-style Thanksgiving dinner at the Kings Head Inn located within the historic Kings Landing settlement? The photogenic settlement has been moved, restored and preserved over the years and still remains a New Brunswick gem on the banks of the mighty Saint John River. Thanksgiving Sunday, complete with a live farmers’ auction, church service and amazing seasonal foliage has to be the BEST day of the year to visit Kings Landing, and has become a tradition for photographer Christopher Gardner. Here are a few shots from his recent visit.
On August 16, 2014 Ghostface Killah of the legendary rap group Wu-Tang Clan landed in Saint John, New Brunswick with fellow Wu-Block member Sheek Louch of the Lox. On the ones and twos we had RS Smooth and Technician the DJ, and the duo of New York emcees received local support from Wilz ‘N’ States to open up the evening. It was a night full of great people, loyal Wu-Tang fans and amazing hip-hop music. Gardner Photography was in the building snapping a few pictures of the event, and managed to get his ‘Enter the Wu-Tang’ and ‘Ice Cream’ vinyl records signed as well. How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

Saturday August 16, Gardner Photography will be hanging around the VIP section of Tonic (Function Junction), snapping photos of Wu-heads in the building to experience Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch of the Lox live. This is definitely the hottest hip-hop event of the year in Saint John, so make sure you get tickets soon because it’s sure to sell out. #BringDaRuckus
